honeymoon {part 1}

whew.

i'm back.

it feels so good to finally be back to a somewhat "normal" life.

the wedding was absolutely perfect and beautiful.  we couldn't have asked for a better day.

and i can't WAIT to show you pictures and tell you all about it, but i don't really have any yet.  soon... i hope.

but until then i'll be glad to get back into a regular blogging schedule.  i've lost a few of you the past couple of weeks, which is sad, but i hope the rest of you stick around.  things should be more interesting and fun from here on out.  

first, let's start with the honeymoon to mesquite and las vegas.

discovery #1:  6 hour car rides with lincoln are fun.

i tend to take lots of pictures when driving because the middle of utah is quite boring to look at it (in most parts).

and this is the face lincoln starts making when i take too many pictures.

discovery #2:  mesquite, nevada is very hot in june.

we stepped out of the car to 108 degree weather.  bleh.

so we decided to hit up the pool.

we were forunate to stay in my parents friend's "home away from home" for a few days.

after a few nights there we made our way to vegas.

we stayed at a resort in henderson (about 10 minutes from the strip) called Green Valley Ranch,

which we HIGHLY recommend.
