Small acts of kindness...

On Tuesday/Thursdays I just have one class. It happens to be on the complete opposite side of campus and I've recently discovered the parking meters. I'm so lazy and pretty much drive to that class everytime and just use the meters. (I figure it's cheaper than a parking pass because it only costs me a dollar every time and there are only about 10 more classes left... and I most likely will not attend all of them... This is me justifying spending money on meters.) The only problem about these meters is they only allow a one hour time limit. My class is one hour and 15 minutes long... Can you see my problem here? Every time I have this class I leave an hour into it and go refill the meter for the last 15 minutes. Yes, this may be a little inconsiderate to the teacher, but frankly she drives me nuts!!! I use it as a nice excuse to get some fresh air. (She seriously drives me crazy.) Today as I walked out in the brisk Logan air I noticed someone pulling into the meter next to mine. He got out and started filling his machine. I was still about 30 steps away and noticed he put a coin in my expired machine. He walked away from the meter as I approached. Now I wish I would've thanked him but didn't realize his act of kindness until I got to the machine. He had noticed my expired meter and put extra an extra 10 minutes in it. What a nice person. We need more people like him in the world. Thank you nice meter man! You made my day!
