California may be warmer, but we NEVER get snow-at least where I live.
Ups and downs to wherever you live I suppose. I will admit, that a TON of snow would get a bit annoying though. I prefer that dreamy idea of snow, where you don't need to get through it or move it.

Oh your photos are just lovely! My favourite of the three would have to be the lifeguard tower. There is something retro about it and it is very "California"....very far from where we live in Canada.
