there's this tree
on the highway as you head out of town.
you could say it's my favorite tree.
he's sitting out there all by himself.
and he's huge!
and so full of character.
i've been wanting to take a picture of this tree the whole time i've been up here at school,
but didn't get around to it until yesterday.
i wanted to be one of those cool photographers that takes a picture of tree in all four seasons from the same angle, but i'm not that on top of it yet.
maybe someday.
every time i drive past this tree i say, "hi tree."
i wonder how long it's been there.
and i wonder how many people notice it.
i just love that tree.
i think i'll miss it.
remember my friend, kristin?
she blogged about this tree a long time ago.
her pictures of it are rad!
more green and less snow.

hey that's an amazing picture! I have fond memories of running out of gas in front of this tree with a special someone. Yep, probably the best place to run out of gas. :)
What a beautiful picture. I love that tree, very creepy, in a good way.
I've never even noticed that tree before -- I'm totally going to pay attention to it now!
Just this Sunday Tyler and I saw a bald eagle sitting in that very tree. It sure does have a lot of character. I love your photo of it.
