once upon a time
a boy had his head resting on a girl's lap.
they were sitting on the red leather couch in the family room.
it was quiet.
the girl stroked his unshaven face and played with his hair.
the boy stared up at her face.
him: "So how do you feel about us?"
her: "I don't know?" (big smiles)
him: "Yes, you do."
her: "Why do I always have to go first?"
him: "Because I'm always the one who brings it up."
(pause)
her: "Well... you pretty much have my heart."
him: "You have my heart too."
(big smiles, kiss, pause)
him: "Guess what?" (whispering)
her: "What?" (whispering back)
him: "I love you."
her: "I love you."
(BIG smiles, kiss kiss kiss, laughter, hugs, and more talking)
and that's the story of how a girl and boy came to know they loved each other.
