every morning.

alarm goes off way too early.

lincoln rolls over to his knees to say his prayers.
my covers are ripped from me as he does this.

midge hears we are awake and starts meowing at our door.
he opens the door and she sprints inside.

she jumps up on the bed and runs over to me and rubs her face on mine.

sometimes she wants to play and other times she'll let me pet her.

she will curl up next to me and sleep until my alarm goes.

lincoln comes back in and gives kisses and goodbyes before school.

and then i wonder why the heck it's still so dark outside.

even though i am far from being a morning person, this is probably my favorite time of day.
(except i really don't like the part where my covers are ripped off of me.)

it's quiet.  and it fills my heart full of love for those two--lincoln and midge.

besides... look how cute she is?  wouldn't you want her waking you up every morning?

and that husband of mine is pretty cute too.

I wish my mornings were more like yours. Instead it is me leaving while it is still dark outside and Kevin getting the covers pulled off.

Midge--what a snuggler... I think she needs to come over to my house and teach my cat not to be such a daddy's girl. I am getting jealous :)

That's about how it goes for me and Tyler, but in reverse. Unfortunately I'm the one who has to get up early :( I LOVE your new blog layout and format!

haha my cat will walk all over me and rub her whiskers in my face and knock everything off my nightstand so i will get out of bed an feed her. haha sometimes i don't like that. but i always like waking up and shes asleep on my bed.

The other night I woke up to my Rusty all snuggled up next to me. I didn't wake up because of the snuggling but on account of his extra loud purring. It was so sweet.
Almost makes me forget all about his being litter box challenged. ;)
